I opened this bottle in April 2016, and much to my regret, the wine is cloying, slightly maderized—in short, not good—and doesn’t taste anything like a Savennière. I still have one bottle left to open; we’ll see if this was just a one-time fluke.

I was a bit unsure about this wine, but I was pleasantly surprised—it has lots of delicate, elegant aromas and a lovely minerality. In short, a pleasant surprise!!
