Less well known to the general public than cider, due to its limited production, poiré is made by fermenting pear juice and is part of Normandy’s traditional heritage. With its exceptional flavor,Eric Bordelet’s Poiré Authentique has the power to captivate immediately. The freshness of its fruit makes it a perfect aperitif, and it also pairs beautifully with seafood and goat cheese. An authentic poiré!

Great product!!! The special and vintage Poiré blends and the ciders (with or without an "S") are not worth it and are overpriced. The basic Poiré, on the other hand, is definitely worth a try!
