"Iconic vintage"

"Soft notes of toasted grain mark the nose of the 2018 Mate's Vineyard Chardonnay, framing aromas of ripe pineapple and white peach. There is also a hint of bacon fat. The palate is medium-bodied, the wine is slightly creamy and silky, yet crisp and concentrated, tightening on the finish to end with an explosion of citrus zest. Like most Mate's vintages, it ideally needs a few years in the cellar to fully express itself. (Wine Advocate 2019 - Joe Czerwinski) Screw cap closure

About wine:

The prominent Chardonnay here is very well controlled and is super rich and concentrated with deep aromas of ripe peach and mango as well as notes of toasted grapefruit. The palate is very rich and ripe, offering a super fleshy feel with long, rich, and complex stone fruit flavors. Drink now or hold. Screw cap.
