About wine:
Escarpment may be best known for its Pinot Noir, but this Chardonnay is in a class of its own. The nose is bursting with powerful aromas of grilled pineapple, candied lemon, gunflint, shellfish, and toast. The palate is rich with multiple layers of flavor, crisp acidity, woody structure, and a beautiful bite. This classy wine will gain honeyed complexity with age. Drink until 2032.

Review and opinion by Mr. SEBASTIEN R. Published on 05/02/2024
It's expensive for what it is, with a compressed quality (excess sulfur?!) in the middle of the palate and on the finish that spoils all the interest this wine has on the attack. A disappointment.
