About wine:

Richly structured and dense, the wine is balanced with tannins already integrated with black fruit flavors. This wine, with its acidity and mineral texture, has further aging potential. Drink from 2026 onwards.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 17+/20

About wine:

Very dark color with a purplish rim, no sign of color evolution. An explosion of black fruit, blackberry, and damon aromas, but without obvious sweetness, i.e., with the dark, rocky, and savory character of the Douro. Chewy but not aggressive tannins, in the process of resolving. If you open this wine now, you will need to drink it with a meal—although in fact, it will probably always be a meal wine. The Touriga is evident not only in the color but also in a floral note. The tannins are compact and balanced, but they would need another year in the bottle to blossom. Long, finely textured finish with a fresh aftertaste accentuated by the tannins, or perhaps vice versa. 2025-2031
