Quinta Do Infantado

The Quinta Do Infantado estate was founded in 1816 by D. Pedro VI. A “Quinta” (estate) that has been in the hands of the Roseiras de Covas Douro family for over a century, it is located in the heart of the Douro Valley, on its right bank in the Gontelho region.

Quinta Do Infantado produces authentic producer’s Port wines from 46 hectares of Class A vineyards within the D.O.C. Porto appellation, which receive the finest care. At Quinta Do Infantado, winemaking follows the purest tradition (including foot-treading) in modern cellars, resulting in less sweet Port wines. These are authentic DOC Porto wines that reflect their terroir.
