Vannières Castle
Château Vannières, located between the village of La Cadière d’Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, faces entirely south and west, with the Sainte Baume mountain range providing a natural barrier to the north. To the east of the estate lies the village of Le Castellet. The Château Vannières estate spans 47 hectares, 33 of which are dedicated to vineyards.

This Provençal vineyard is planted with the traditional Bandol grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault for reds and rosés, and Clairette and Rolle for whites, all grown on marl and limestone soil. The vineyard is managed in the purest Bandol winemaking tradition, notably through the practices of covering, uncovering, and scraping the vines to aerate the soil and prevent weed growth. At Château Vannières, , the harvest is carried out exclusively by hand, and each grape variety from each plot is vinified separately. Aging takes place traditionally in oak casks and barrels for the reds, and in stainless steel tanks for the rosés and whites. This meticulous and rigorous approach ranks the wines of Château Vannières among the best in the appellation.
