Vannières Castle
Château Vannières, located between the village of La Cadière d’Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, faces entirely south and west, sheltered to the north by the Sainte Baume mountain range. To the east of the estate lies the village of Le Castellet. The Château Vannières estate spans 47 hectares, 33 of which are dedicated to vineyards.

This Provence vineyard is planted with the traditional Bandol grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault for reds and rosés, and Clairette and Rolle for whites, all grown on marl and limestone soil. The vines are tended in the purest Bandol winemaking tradition, notably through the practices of covering the roots with soil, uncovering them, and scraping the soil around the roots to aerate the soil and prevent weed growth. At Château Vannières, , the harvest is carried out exclusively by hand, and each grape variety from each plot is vinified separately. Aging takes place traditionally in oak casks and barrels for the reds, and in stainless steel tanks for the rosés and whites. This meticulous and rigorous approach ranks the wines of Château Vannières among the best in the appellation.
