Vannières Castle
Château Vannières, located between the village of La Cadière-d’Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, faces entirely south and west, sheltered to the north by the Sainte-Baume mountain range. To the east of the estate lies the village of Le Castellet. The Château Vannières estate spans 47 hectares, 33 of which are dedicated to vineyards.

This Provence vineyard is planted with traditional Bandol grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cinsault for red and rosé wines, and Clairette and Rolle for white wines, on a soil composed of marl and limestone. The vineyard is managed in the purest Bandol winemaking tradition, notably involving the practice of covering, uncovering, and scratching the soil around the vines to aerate the soil and prevent weed growth. At Château Vannières, , the harvest is exclusively hand-picked, and each grape variety from each plot is vinified separately. Aging is done traditionally in oak casks and barrels for the reds, and in stainless steel tanks for the rosés and whites. This meticulous and rigorous work ranks the wines of Château Vannières among the best in the appellation.
