A. Larsson

“Deep , dense purple with a clear core. Spicy and meaty, with notes of black fruit on the nose, peppery, and a subtle hint of oak. The palate is dense with good extraction; it’s still young but can be enjoyed now with its meaty, spicy, and red fruit aromas. ” (Andreas Larsson 2018) Serve slightly chilled to fully enjoy it!

Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

In 2011, at the age of fifty, Markus Conrad, a German entrepreneur and wine enthusiast, fulfilled his dream by purchasing this historic estate—previously owned by the Fournier family—together with his family. Located in the ecological sanctuary of the Plaine des Maures, the vineyard now covers 25 hectares, planted on a high-quality sandy-loam terroir. The conversion of the entire vineyard to organic farming was completed in 2017.
