Figuière - Côtes de Provence Première rosé 2024
89/100
RVF
"This Première cuvée is truly classy, with notes of summer peach and a long, salty finish!"
Première rosé combines elegance, delicious roundness, and a salty expression. This rosé cuvée reveals a very expressive nose, with exotic aromas of pineapple, lychee, and fresh apricot mixed with notes of white pepper and nutmeg. The palate is full-bodied, beautifully fruity, harmonious, and refined, accentuated by salty notes on the finish. A rosé worthy of the appellation's greatest wines!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
This is one of the most famous estates in Provence. It belongs to the Combard family, who manage this 85-hectare vineyard, including 30 hectares of leased land. The vineyard, located on the coast on schist soil, has been cultivated organically since 1979. Steps are currently being taken to convert the entire estate to biodynamic farming. We applaud this commitment, which is no easy feat for an estate of this size. While the wines are among the sure values of Provence, the family also works hard to welcome visitors and offers a cultural program during the sunny days of the season that is well worth a visit.
