Despite a challenging vintage, Miraval performs exceptionally well, offering a rich and velvety texture with aromas of red berries and citrus in a full-bodied, juicy, and smooth palate. This beautiful balance carries through to the finish, which has a slightly vinous character and a delicate hint of sea salt. Elegant bottle design. A victim of its own success, the price is skyrocketing. This great gastronomic rosé, as charming and sensual as ever, was paired with redfish fillets and green asparagus tips, pan-seared in olive oil. Score = 4.3.
