“‘This is a great wine’ (Parker)”

“There’s something comforting about this wine. Perhaps it’s due to its creamy notes of oats and baked pears, with their rounded curves and velvety texture, like goose down. Perhaps it’s the warmth of licorice and fennel bulb that rises from the back of the mouth and slowly descends down both sides of the palate to meet at the tip of the tongue. Perhaps it’s because the acidity tingles like the mildest of green chilies. Perhaps it is because the finish gives the impression (the taste) of a generous grandmother offering you a slice of warm bread, fresh from the oven, buttered and accompanied by a glass of apple juice. With just a hint of white pepper.” (Jancis Robinson)

Rated wine (2025 guide) 91/100 (Excellent wine)

About the wine:

From the very first whiff, the Méditerranée Exception Blanc reveals a lively and vibrant bouquet of spices, ripe orchard fruits, aromatic herbs, and spring flowers. Moderately full-bodied, round, and harmonious, it is elegant and energetic, with lively acidity and a delicate, salty, enticing, and charming finish. Fermented and aged for 11 months in barrels, this is a great wine.

A juicy, fruity, and delicious Chardonnay. On the nose, it reveals notes of apple, bergamot, and fresh herbs. It is medium-bodied with moderate acidity. Its silky, smooth, and comforting texture leads to a finish with aromas of freshly cut apple. Enjoy now.

Bright golden color. A clean nose with aromas of fresh stone fruit, ripe citrus, soft oak, fresh butter, and hints of chalk. Good mouthfeel and texture, full-bodied with elegant, youthful stone fruit highlighted by lively acidity, balanced oak, and a long, lingering finish.
