90-92/100
Jeb Dunnuck
A fruity, elegant, and accessible Crozes-Hermitage. A fresh and fruity version of Syrah. Fleur de Syrahne is a delightful wine to share, with lovely notes of cherries and black fruits, balanced between power and freshness. A pleasant and effective red wine, best served chilled. A lovely wine to discover!

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 04/04/2024
This Crozes-Hermitage is not particularly impressive, seemingly aiming only to be fresh and fruity, with a light structure and a texture that slips into a brief, slightly tense finish. On the face of it, the goal of short aging in stainless steel vats has been achieved, but at a high price. In comparison, the Les Jalets cuvées from JABOULET and, even more so, Laurent from COMBIER are a cut above. A spring wine to be drunk quickly and informally with burgers, pizzas, or grilled sausages and merguez. Rating = 3.4.
