A tasting of this rather uninspiring Crozes-Hermitage, which seems to have no other ambition than to be fresh and fruity, with a light structure and a smooth texture leading to a brief, slightly taut finish. On the surface, the goal of the short aging in stainless steel tanks has been achieved, but at a high cost. By comparison, the “Les Jalets” from JABOULET and, even more so, the “Laurent” from COMBIER are a cut above. A spring wine to be enjoyed quickly and casually with burgers, pizza, or grilled merguez sausages. Rating = 3.4.
