Mourvèdre

age-worthy wine

This 100% Mourvèdre comes from a small harvest and will delight lovers of Mediterranean wines. The nose reveals all the power of the South, blended with this robust and spicy grape variety. The fruit comes through elegantly, supported by a mineral backbone that pleasantly refreshes the whole. A true Southern wine—complex, full-bodied, and robust—to age in the cellar or enjoy with a hearty stew this winter!

About the estate:

Since 1999 at Domaine des Perrières, Marc Kreydenweiss and his wife Emmanuelle have successfully combined their Alsatian expertise with their passion for southern French grape varieties—particularly reds—all cultivated using strictly biodynamic methods. The result: magnificent wines that are truly out of the ordinary, with the Ansata cuvée serving as the perfect example.
