Gault & Millau
“A fabulous expression of Carignan, the 2012 Costières de Nîmes KA offers classic notes of old leather, pepper, wild herbs, and a medley of purple fruits. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, with excellent concentration and remarkable purity, it should be enjoyed over the next 4 to 6 years, though I wouldn’t be surprised to see it last much longer.” (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker) RVF’s Favorite at the 2015 Millésime BIO Fair Click to watch the video!

Bettane & Desseauve
Winery rated 1 star (A high-quality, recommended wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Since 1999 at Domaine des Perrières, Marc Kreydenweiss and his wife Emmanuelle have successfully combined their Alsatian expertise with their passion for southern French grape varieties—particularly reds—all cultivated using strictly biodynamic methods. The result: magnificent wines that are truly out of the ordinary, with the Ansata cuvée serving as the perfect example.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Wine rated 16.5/20 (Very good)
About the wine:
We love the flawless intensity of its sustained, vibrant flavors, bursting with notes of black grape, rockrose, licorice, and hints of bitter cocoa. The structure is firm and well-defined, with a lively texture thanks to the varied texture that adds a fresh touch to the finish. Noble!
