Mas de Boislauzon

Mas de Boislauzon is located in the northern part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, in the commune of Orange at a place called Boislauzon. It is run by Christine and Daniel Chaussy, the fifth generation of winemakers in this family.

Mas de Boislauzon owns 9 hectares within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, spread across 15 plots in the localities of Cabrières, Boislauzon, Lagardiole, Palestor, and Pignan, as well as 15 hectares in the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appellation spread across 15 plots within a 5-kilometer radius of the estate, in the localities known as Boislauzon and Coudoulet. The Mas de Boislauzon vineyard is cultivated using sustainable agriculture and has been in the process of converting to organic farming since the 2009 vintage. The 2012 harvest will be the first certified organic vintage.

Mas de Boislauzon is a rare standout in France, with 90% of its production sold for export. It has twice received a 100/100 rating from Robert Parker for its flagship Quet cuvée in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, for the 2007 and 2010 vintages.
