“The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tintot reveals a deep color along with rich, full-bodied, and complex notes of black and blue fruits, roasted herbs, melted licorice, and cured meats. It is clearly not for those seeking light aromas and flavors. It displays sensational depth on the mid-palate along with intense, supple tannins, all of which suggest it will have a very long life. It's a shame that, for a wine at this price, the blend of grape varieties doesn't match the description or what's listed on the label.
