Duseigneur Estate
Coming from a long line of winemakers, Bernard Duseigneur is the fifth generation to carry on the family tradition, taking over from his father Jean in 2002. Spanning some thirty hectares, the Duseigneur estate encompasses the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, and Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun appellations. In 2007, he partnered with Philippe Faure-Brac, the 1992 World’s Best Sommelier, one of the world’s most discerning wine connoisseurs and a true lover of terroirs and winemakers.

The terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape boasts a wide variety of soils and is not limited solely to large, orange-colored rounded pebbles. It features red clay, limestone pebbles, sandstone-rich sand of marine origin, and deeper silt deposits along the banks of the Rhône. Each type of soil produces grapes with distinct characteristics, contributing to the extraordinary complexity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

Biodynamics is central to the work at Domaine Duseigneur, aiming to reveal the finest expressions of the terroirs and old vines on the estate. The wines are certified organic and Demeter.
