Duseigneur Estate
Coming from a long line of winemakers— Bernard Duseigneur is the fifth generation—he took over from his father, Jean, in 2002. Spanning some 30 hectares, the Duseigneur estate encompasses the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, and Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun appellations. In 2007, he partnered with Philippe Faure-Brac, the 1992 World’s Best Sommelier, one of the world’s most discerning wine connoisseurs, and a true lover of terroirs and winemakers.

The terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape boasts a wide variety of soils and is not limited solely to large, orange-colored, rounded pebbles. It includes red clay, limestone pebbles, sandstone-rich sand of marine origin, and deeper silt deposits along the banks of the Rhône. Each type of soil produces grapes with distinct characteristics, contributing to the extraordinary complexity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

Biodynamics is at the heart of the Duseigneur estate’s approach, aimed at revealing the finest expressions of the terroirs and old vines found on the estate. The wines are certified organic and Demeter.
