Domaine Fontavin - Trilogies 2016
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
“A Trilogies that brings together three grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre) and three terroirs within the appellation (sand, sandstone, and pebbles): a winning combination that struck a chord with the jury. Ripe red fruits, spices, and menthol: the grapes’ beautiful ripeness is immediately apparent on the nose. With its creamy, full-bodied texture, soft, well-integrated tannins, and a palate bursting with fruit and spices, the wine confirms this on the palate. Remarkable in volume and richness, it is already a great pleasure to drink. It also has excellent aging potential.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020) Great value for money!

About the estate:
Located north of Courthézon, this 45-hectare family-owned estate, spread across eight municipalities and five appellations, has been managed since 1998 by Hélène Chouvet, an oenologist who converted the vineyard to organic farming.
