Domaine du Grand Tinel - Châteauneuf-du-Pape rouge 2022
3*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"The only Châteauneuf to be awarded 3* Coup Cœur by the Guide Hachette 2026!
"If the 2021 version of the estate's classic label delighted the jury, the 2022 version literally captivated them. 70% Grenache and a 12-month stay in barrels of various containers, the recipe remains the same. The brilliance of a still-tender ruby color, the eloquent bouquet of crushed strawberries sprinkled with praline, and above all the fresh, caressing mouthfeel, sheathed in velvety tannins, enhanced by peppery and mineral notes that underline its devilishly sapid character: all reflect a tactfully extracted, elegant and highly digestible wine, the opposite of the Châteauneuf of the competition". About the domain :
The origins of the estate lie in the union of two ancient Castelpapal families, the Establets and the Jeunes. A vast "tina" (cellar or barrel) was built on three levels, in keeping with the 72 ha of vines on the current estate, created in 1972.
