"Since 2006, this estate has been owned by the Cazes family (of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac), and the wines seem to be improving in quality with each passing year. The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is full-bodied and supple. This rich, tannic blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre spent time in large oak casks, old barrels, and concrete tanks, resulting in a powerful, concentrated wine, rich in cherry and spice. " (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker) Delivery in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Pickup Point delivery method)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2019 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)

About the estate:

This historic estate, with its prime location and soils composed of pebbles, clay, and gravel, was taken over in 2006 by the Cazes family, owners of Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, among other properties. A single cuvée is produced in both white and red, and the most recent vintages are undeniably well-crafted, in a classic style that is gradually asserting its own character.
