Château Sixtine

Château Sixtine is a family estate, where traces of the DIFFONTY family date back to 1673. Today, after four generations, Jean Marc DIFFONTY, son of Félicien DIFFONTY, mayor of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for 30 years, has been working to maintain family traditions since 1990. Located between Orange and Avignon, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Sixtine covers 15 hectares. Five grape varieties dominate here: Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for reds, and Roussanne and Clairette for whites. Jean Marc DIFFONTY has given the estate a new lease of life by bringing modernity and elegance to it, propelling Château Sixtine to the ranks of the greatest names in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
