Château Sixtine

Château Sixtine is a family-owned estate, where the DIFFONTY family’s history dates back to 1673. Today, four generations later, Jean Marc DIFFONTY, son of Félicien DIFFONTY—who served as mayor of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for 30 years—has been working to uphold family traditions since 1990. Located between Orange and Avignon in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Sixtine spans 15 hectares. Here, five grape varieties dominate: Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for the reds, and Roussanne and Clairette for the whites. Jean Marc DIFFONTY has revitalized the estate by infusing it with modernity and elegance, propelling Château Sixtine into the ranks of the greatest names in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
