Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils
The Usseglio Raymond & Fils estate is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a famous and prestigious appellation in the southern Rhône Valley.
This Italian-sounding name recalls the origins of its founder, Francis Usseglio, who came straight from Italy to settle in the Papal lands in 1931.
His son, Raymond Usseglio, expanded the vineyard’s acreage, and today it is Stéphane, his son and the third generation, who continues the family tradition across 24 hectares of vines.
In the tradition of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Usseglio Raymond & Fils estate produces high-class, complex, and powerful wines that remain true to the appellation, with quality that continues to rise year after year.
The vineyard is managed according to biodynamic principles, which allows for the best possible respect for the terroirs and the vines, such as the very old Grenache vines on Pialons and Grand Pierre in the Impériale cuvée.
