Alain Voge Winery
In 1958, Alain Voge joined the family estate, which had been based in Cornas for several generations. He then undertook major changes to the estate’s operations: moving away from mixed farming, replanting abandoned vineyards, and selling wine directly to consumers. Gradually, Domaine Alain Voge gained a reputation for the quality of its Saint-Péray and Cornas wines.

In the 2000s, Domaine Alain Voge took a new direction with the conversion of the Saint-Péray vineyards to organic viticulture, led by Albéric Mazoyer, the estate’s director since 2004. Convinced of the need to respect the terroir, he began managing the estate using biodynamic methods in 2013. Traditional, manual methods are used to produce high-quality Marsanne and Syrah, best expressing the terroir of the Right Bank of the Rhône.

An iconic figure of the Rhône, Alain Voge passed away in September 2020 at the age of 81. Lionel Fraisse, who joined the estate in 2012 and has served as Albéric Mazoyer’s right-hand man, is taking over management of the estate alongside the existing team.
