"A fruity, mouthwatering vintage!"

“The 2022 Côtes du Rhône Les Peyrouses offers notes of tart cherry, red plum, and earth, enhanced by hints of violet and leaves. Medium-bodied and elegant, it is round and refined, with an approachable profile.” (Vinous 2024)

Rated estate (2027 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Lionel Fraisse carries on the legacy of this estate, long embodied by Alain Voge, an iconic figure in the region who passed away in 2020. The 12 hectares, superbly situated on the slopes of the Saint-Péray and Cornas appellations, are tended with great care. Crafted for long-term aging, the wines are worthy representatives of the very best these two appellations have to offer. There has been noticeable progress in the aging process, though this is less pronounced in the most recent vintages.
