James Suckling
“A well-rounded wine that’s both full-bodied and fruity!”
“A beautiful bright red color, with aromas of red cherries, red currants, and dried pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins. Lots of energy, with a precise and vibrant finish. Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Marselan. Made from biodynamically grown grapes certified by Demeter. Ready to drink or worth cellaring. ” (James Suckling 2025)

About the estate:
François Collard is a regular in the Guide, with his wines often ranking highly. Established in 1994, he began bottling wines from the family vineyards (65 hectares certified organic since 2014) under two labels: Mourgues du Grès, which belonged to the Ursuline convent of Beaucaire until the Revolution, and La Tour de Béraud, named after a 14th-century watchtower Never short on ideas, the Collard couple invites visitors to explore every facet of the estate via a marked trail equipped with Bluetooth markers.
