“A Mosaic of the Terroirs of Saint-Roman-de-Malegarde”
“As its name suggests, this cuvée is made from grapes grown on several plots located on the various soil types of Vaison-la-Romaine, blending Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan. An ambitious cuvée that charms with its exuberant bouquet evoking ink, ripe cherry, roasted coffee, and Zan. The palate is equally impressive: with its unrestrained expression of peppery black fruits, its velvety texture framed by sap-like tannins, and its subtle bitterness with a hint of myrtle. A true delight.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

An ambitious cuvée that charms with its rich bouquet evoking ink, ripe cherry, roasted coffee, and Zan. A true delight.
About the estate:
An estate founded after World War II by Charles Long. His grandsons, Bruno and Daniel, who established the winery in 1997, now manage an 80-hectare vineyard certified organic, with the help of Daniel’s son, Guillaume. Their wines are often highly rated in the Guide.

About the wine:
The 2022 Côtes du Rhône Villages Vaison-La-Romaine Mozaik is made from 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Carignan. Black raspberries, Provençal garrigue, and notes of spring flowers define this thoroughly classic Southern Rhône wine, which is medium-bodied, balanced, and elegant. It has plenty of character and embodies the more refined and elegant style we favor here.
