Domaine Font de Courtedune - Côtes du Rhône Vieilles Vignes 2021

"A Côtes du Rhône full of deliciousness"
Vinified as whole clusters, as at Rayas, the old Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah vines develop remarkable complexity. The bouquet evolves toward notes of red fruit, blackcurrant, and spices. The attack is round and enveloping, supported by structured, fine tannins. The finish is pleasantly long and offers a delicious treat. Enjoy now or wait for those who are more patient...

About the estate:
Located in the northern part of the Châteauneuf appellation, in the village of Courthézon, this estate rich in old vines has belonged to the Charrier family for three generations. Caroline is in charge of winemaking, while her brother Frédéric looks after the vines. The Cristia, Pointu, and La Guigasse vineyards produce the Châteauneuf, which is made from 99% whole-harvest Grenache and aged in concrete vats.
