Domaine Sainte-Anne

The Sainte-Anne estate, a former priory of the Chartreuse de la Valbonne, was acquired in 1965 by a couple from Burgundy, Guy and Anne Steinmaier, who came from a family of winemakers. The Sainte-Anne estate covers 35 hectares within the Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Gervais appellation. The Sainte-Anne vineyard is situated on a plateau at an altitude of 200 meters, facing southwest toward the Cévennes—a region known for its exceptional terroir of calcareous sandstone, swept by the Mistral wind. Thanks to this microclimate and significant daily temperature fluctuations, Sainte-Anne’s wines have a refined and aromatic profile.
