Domaine Sainte-Anne - Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Gervais Les Rouvières 2021
With its deep garnet color, this beautiful Côtes du Rhône Villages is smooth and deep on the palate, consistent with its nose of black fruits, leather, menthol, and garrigue. With its controlled power, this cuvée will pair well with a stew or a Provençal beef stew.

Review and opinion by Mr. MATHIEU W. Published on 12/24/2022
Medium to deep purple-red color. On the nose, it is reminiscent of a young Beaujolais Cru. An explosion of ripe, red, and dark fruit. Also somewhat earthy and then fresh pie crust. On the palate, that explosive red and dark fruit again. Deliciously juicy, crisp, and ripe. Strong tannin structure of soft tannins, fine-grained. Nice grip, freshness, substance, character, and aging potential. Score: 16+/20
