Pierre Amadieu
Pierre Amadieu founded the estate and gave it his name in 1929. He was one of the first to label his bottles with the Gigondas appellation and won a gold medal at the Paris Agricultural Show as early as 1932.
The Pierre Amadieu Estate began with 7 hectares of vineyards and has since expanded to 137 hectares in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range; it is now run by his son Claude and other family members, who are all committed to carrying on the family tradition while respecting the terroir and local customs.
The wines produced by the Pierre Amadieu estate reveal a unique character, combining elegance and power, and expressing the freshness and finesse of their terroir.
