Pierre Amadieu
Pierre Amadieu founded the estate and gave it his name in 1929. He was one of the first to label his bottles with the Gigondas appellation and, as early as 1932, won a gold medal at the Paris Agricultural Show.
The Pierre Amadieu Estate It began with 7 hectares of vineyards and has since expanded to 137 hectares in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range. Today, it is run by his son Claude and other members of his family, all of whom are committed to carrying on the family tradition while respecting the terroir and local customs.
