Clos Léopold
The Clos Leopold is nestled in the hills of Gigondas, in a preserved, wooded area. At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, it is on the slopes that LeopoldJulien's grandfather planted the first vines. It is on these same slopes that Julien cultivates his vines using certified organic farming methods.
Clos Léopold aims to offer easy-drinking, well-balanced wines in a modern style, aged in vats.
The grapes are harvested by hand and completely destemmed. The vinification process is traditional, with a long maceration period to produce full-bodied, fruity Gigondas AOP wines in which Grenache and Syrah express themselves beautifully.
