Clos Léopold
The Clos Léopold is nestled in the hills above Gigondas, in a secluded, wooded area. At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, it is on the slopes that Leopold, Julien’s grandfather, planted the first vines. It is on these very slopes that Julien cultivates his vines using certified organic farming methods.
Clos Léopold strives to produce easy-drinking, well-balanced wines in a modern style, aged in tanks.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fully
destemmed. Winemaking follows traditional methods with a long
maceration period, resulting in full-bodied, fruity Gigondas AOP wines where Grenache and Syrah shine.
