Moulin de la Gardette
Jean-Baptiste Meunier, winegrower since 1988, runs the 10-hectare Moulin de la Gardette estate in the Gigondas appellation. He began converting to organic viticulture in 1999 (certified organic in 2012), with the intention of "preserving the environment" and "revealing the intrinsic qualities of the terroir".

The Moulin de la Gardette vineyard is planted mainly with old Grenache (7 hectares), with Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault on the remaining 3 hectares. The average age of the vines is 50 years, and the oldest are over 100 years old.

The philosophy at Moulin de la Gardette is to let the grapes and terroir express themselves. The result is wines of remarkable quality and consistency.
