"The estate's best Gigondas, with crisp berry, cranberry and raspberry fruit. It's fresh, with a hint of volatile acidity to lift the fruit and an abundance of fine, fresh, crisp tannins. Finishes on a fresh, slightly saline note. Long and elegant, with plenty of energy, without being excessively structured or concentrated. Not destemmed, fermented in concrete tanks and aged in foudres." (Decanter 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
One of the "must-haves" of Gigondas, Moulin de la Gardette and its ten hectares are a charming estate, carefully managed by Jean-Baptiste Meunier. Between the terroirs of Saint-Jean and the Gardette hillside, the old Grenache vines capture the finesse of the limestone marls. There's no showboating in the cellar, and the owner has perfect control over the use of wood. For several vintages now, the estate's cuvées have been remarkably natural, with a silky texture and integrated tannins.

Crushed red fruit, raspberry and a herbaceous note. A silky-smooth attack with delicate tannins. The fruity core overflows with energy and purity, with a herbaceous note in the middle. The fresh, fine, refined finish is marked by a cedric note.
