"Twelve months of aging in large oak barrels have sprinkled a few notes of cinnamon onto this friendly, distinctive nose of candied plum, stewed fruit, and licorice. Generous on the palate, it reveals ample, fleshy substance, framed by consistent, chalky tannins. The warm finish, tinged with black pepper and cocoa, leaves the memory of a sunny and very indulgent Rasteau, perfectly faithful to the standards of the appellation." (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About wine:
The 2023 Rasteau reveals superb aromas of red and black fruits, ground pepper, strawberry, black cherry, toasted garrigue, and peppery, fleshy notes. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, round, deep and beautifully concentrated, it displays the fresh and concentrated style of the vintage. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, aged for six months in old casks, it will be at its best for 10 to 12 years.
