Domaine Martin

Julien Martin founded Domaine Martin in 1905, which at the time covered 5 hectares of vineyards. Today, the vineyard covers nearly 72 hectares of clay-limestone and alluvial soil between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. Sixty-two hectares are classified as AOC Côtes du Rhône, Plan de Dieu, Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and Rasteau natural sweet wine, and 10 hectares are classified as IGP Vaucluse and Méditerranée. 

The red grape varieties at Domaine Martin consist of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mouvèdre, Marselan, and Merlot. The white grape varieties combine Viognier, Bourboulenc, and Grenache Blanc.

This family vineyard is now managed by the founder's great-grandchildren, who are committed to working in an environmentally friendly manner and were awarded High Environmental Value certification in 2020.
