"Syrah with noble, pure fruit, sincere in its spicy and fruity notes."
"Herbaceous notes of bay leaf and blackcurrant. Concentrated in fruit, it is dry, flavorful, and pleasantly structured, with very fine tannins. The acidity is fairly low, but it offers a lovely freshness thanks to its herbaceous notes. Well made, with the granite-like texture that characterizes St-Joseph wines." (Decanter 2024)

About wine:
Red wine seduces with its richness, its sappy and spicy character, juicy and delicately peppery.
About the estate:
This small estate in Saint-Jean de Muzols has been producing wine for a long time, but took a new direction when Bastien Jolivet succeeded his father in 2014 and decided to stop supplying his grapes to the cooperative. His vineyard is located on beautiful hillsides; the wines produced there are vinified with indigenous yeast and fermented in used barrels. The reds are made from whole grapes and aged in demi-muid barrels.
