"A Syrah with noble, pure fruit, showcasing genuine spicy and fruity notes"
“Herbal notes of bay leaf and blackcurrant. Rich in fruit, it is dry, flavorful, and pleasantly structured, with very fine tannins. The acidity is fairly low, but it offers a lovely freshness thanks to its herbal notes. Well-made, with that granite-like texture characteristic of St-Joseph wines.” (Decanter 2024)

About the wine:
This red wine captivates with its rich, full-bodied character, its spicy, juicy notes, and its subtle peppery finish.
About the estate:
This small estate in Saint-Jean de Muzols has been producing wine for many years, but took a new direction when Bastien Jolivet succeeded his father in 2014 and decided to stop supplying his grapes to the cooperative. His vineyard is situated on beautiful hillsides; the wines produced there are made using native yeast and fermented in used barrels. The reds include a portion of whole-cluster fermentation and are aged in demi-muids.
