Domaine la Fourmone
The origins of Domaine la Fourmone date back to the 18th century, when it was a farmhouse that produced wheat. Very soon, however, the property shifted away from its original purpose. The region, the climate, and the soil inspired the people of Vacqueyras to cultivate vineyards. Since then, the vines have thrived around the estate.
The Combe family took over Domaine la Fourmone in 1910 and has been running it for five generations.
The organic wines of Domaine la Fourmone thrive between two prestigious, internationally renowned appellations, featuring the eight grape varieties that make up the 37-hectare vineyard between Vacqueyras and Gigondas.
