Domaine la Fourmone 's origins date back to the 18th century, when it was a wheat farm. However, the house soon turned its back on its original purpose. The region, climate and soil prompted people to grow vines in Vacqueyras. Since then, they have remained unperturbed around the estate.
The Combe family took over Domaine la Fourmone in 1910, and has been running the estate for five generations.
Domaine la Fourmone 's organic wines flourish between two prestigious and internationally renowned appellations, through the eight grape varieties that make up the 37-hectare vineyard between Vacqueyras and Gigondas.
