"A wine that transports you, imbued with notes of garrigue and geological richness".

"Made from Grenache and Syrah, the Gigondas Le Fauquet 2023 is slightly darker and earthier, with notes of red and black fruits, ground pepper, dried herbs, graphite and a hint of violets. This is another beautifully pure, balanced and elegant wine from this talented team that offers ripe tannins, a solid backbone of acidity and an excellent finish." (Jeb Dunnuck 2024)

About the wine:

Ripe red fruits, violets, dried herbs and leafy elements frame Gigondas Le Fauquet 2023, an excellent follow-up to the multi-faceted 2022 I tasted last year. Full-bodied, fresh and flavorful, the welcoming 2023 finishes on a long, spicy note. Give it two more years in bottle to express its full potential.
