Domaine Augustin - Collioure Alix Parcé 2022

In the Parcé family, Augustin, working alongside the family’s other businesses, wanted to develop his own estate, comprising 10 hectares in the Collioure-Banyuls appellation. Always cheerful, he offers an interpretation of the terroirs that reflects his own personality, while also demonstrating a strong command of modern communication tools. These wines are designed for immediate enjoyment at the table, though the unique characteristics of the soil are by no means overlooked.

With a deep ruby color and violet highlights, this wine—made from Grenache (80%) and Carignan—immediately captivates with the intensity of its color. The nose, subtle and complex, opens with notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant, and wild berries, enriched with hints of cocoa and kirsch. The palate, full-bodied and rich, reveals a refined, toasty character. The tannins—fine yet assertive—elegantly structure the wine. A perfect pairing with a spiced lamb tagine.

Made primarily from Grenache Noir, with Mourvèdre and Carignan, the 2022 Alix Parcé offers an alluring, rich bouquet of black berries, flowers, and black cherries. Moderately full-bodied and round, it is fresh and delicate, with a juicy, fruity core that leads to a long, enticing finish. Smoother than the 2021, this is a no-frills Collioure.

A refined, charming, and textured red wine, full of verve and precision. Aromas of wild berries, cherries, herbs, and stone, followed by a medium-bodied palate with finely grained tannins. A silky, cashmere-like texture with succulent, vibrant fruit on the palate. Lively and well-balanced, with a long, peppery finish. Ready to drink now or for aging.
