"This deep garnet-colored wine with purple highlights reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry jam. On the palate, the attack is extraordinarily smooth and generous. Its volume, structure, and power set the stage for a long finish. A wine for fine dining." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020)

About wine:
This deep garnet-colored wine with purple highlights reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry jam. On the palate, the attack is extraordinarily smooth and generous. The volume, structure, and power set the stage for a long finish. A wine for fine dining.
About the estate:
Véronique Boudau and her brother Pierre have been running the family estate since 1993. They decided to breathe new life into the property, which covers some 50 hectares of excellent terroir at the entrance to the Agly Valley. Their gamble paid off: the entire production is bottled and sold, mainly through a network of restaurants and wine merchants. A safe bet, which has committed to converting its vineyard to organic farming. Véronique's daughter has just joined the adventure.

About wine:
Plum and licorice stand out on the nose of this 2017 Henri Boudau cuvée, a blend of Syrah (70%) and Grenache (30%) that has spent a year in barrels (20% of which are new). It is medium-bodied with a dominant fruitiness and a beautiful structure that suggests a minimum aging potential of 5-6 years.
