"This is Les Aspres at its best." (Jeb Dunnuck) "

"The intense, refined nose opens with aromas of fresh cherry and wild strawberry, underlined by a discreet note of undergrowth. On the palate, freshness dominates, underlining a supple, delicate and well-balanced body. The elegant finish reveals subtle hints of spice. A harmonious, easy-to-love wine, seductive in its accuracy and beautiful aromatic expression". (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the wine:

The Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres Château De Corneilla Cavalcade 2023, a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir and 25% Mourvèdre, presents well-integrated woody notes, ripe black fruit aromas, a touch of mocha, lightly candied notes, wild strawberry, peony and some graphite notes. Fresh on the palate, with velvety tannins and a tight finish, the style of this wine is quite restrained and still very young. It has wonderful ageing potential and should be served decanted. This is Les Aspres at its best. Drink between 2025 and 2040.
