About wine:
The Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres Château De Corneilla Cavalcade 2023, a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir, and 25% Mourvèdre, has well-integrated woody notes, aromas of ripe black fruit, a touch of mocha, slightly candied notes, aromas of wild strawberry, peony, and a few hints of graphite. Fresh on the palate, with velvety tannins and a tight finish, the style of this wine is quite restrained and still very young. It has wonderful aging potential and should be served decanted. This is Les Aspres at its best. Drink between 2025 and 2040.
