About the wine:
The Côtes du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres Château de Corneilla Cavalcade 2023, a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir, and 25% Mourvèdre, features well-integrated woody notes, aromas of ripe black fruit, a hint of mocha, slightly candied notes, aromas of wild strawberry and peony, and some graphite notes. Fresh on the palate, with velvety tannins and a tight finish, this wine’s style is quite understated and still very young. It shows wonderful aging potential and should be served decanted. This is Les Aspres at its best. Drink between 2025 and 2040.
