About the wine:
The Côtes Du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres Château De Corneilla Cavalcade 2023, a blend of 50% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir and 25% Mourvèdre, presents well-integrated woody notes, ripe black fruit aromas, a touch of mocha, lightly candied notes, wild strawberry, peony and some graphite notes. Fresh on the palate, with velvety tannins and a tight finish, the style of this wine is quite restrained and still very young. It has wonderful ageing potential and should be served decanted. This is Les Aspres at its best. Drink between 2025 and 2040.
