“Welcome to Roussillon” (Hachette)
"Precise, elegant, and well-structured, the 2023 Côtes du Roussillon Château de Corneilla Héritage offers a pleasant character thanks to its skillful blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache Noir, and 20% Carignan. Ripe fruit, black cherry, wild aromatic herbs, and peppery spices are highlighted by tight, silky tannins, plenty of freshness, and, despite its density, great finesse. A harmonious wine with a refreshing hint of bitterness and a gastronomic character, it is already delicious today but can easily age for a few more years to gain depth and complexity.” (Jeb Dunnuck 2025)

Wine rated 2 stars (Outstanding wine)
About the wine:
A deep color with ruby highlights; an intense nose blending forest floor notes, blond tobacco, and scents of the Mediterranean garrigue (bay leaf, thyme)—welcome to Roussillon. On the palate, black fruits (blackberry, blueberry) are complemented by a peppery freshness, infusing a powerful yet integrated structure, balanced by lovely tension and a long, licorice-tinged finish. Definitely a wine with great aging potential.
