"Welcome to Roussillon" (Hachette) "

"Precise, elegant and well-structured, Côtes Du Roussillon Château De Corneilla Héritage 2023 has a pleasing character thanks to the skilful blend of 60% Syrah, 20% Grenache Noir and 20% Carignan. Ripe fruit, black cherry, wild herbs and peppery spices are underlined by tight, satiny tannins, plenty of freshness and, despite its density, great finesse. A harmonious wine with a refreshing hint of bitterness and gastronomic character, it's already delicious today, but can easily age a few more years to gain depth and complexity." (Jeb Dunnuck 2025)

Wine rated 2*Stars (Outstanding wine)

About the wine:

Dark color with ruby highlights, intense nose combining undergrowth, blond tobacco and scents of Mediterranean garrigue (laurel, thyme), welcome to Roussillon. On the palate, black fruits (blackberry, blueberry) are enhanced by a peppery freshness, infusing a powerful yet melted body, balanced by fine tension and a long, liquorice finish. A wine for aging.
