Gilbert & Gaillard

“An intense color with purple highlights. A deep nose revealing ripe red fruits, subtle spicy notes, and a woody finish. The palate is surprisingly opulent and fruity, balanced by a welcome touch of freshness. A structured and persistent wine.” (Le Guide des Vins 2017 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2018 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

The son of Breton farmers who emigrated to the United States, born in Manhattan and of French-American descent, Patrick Rety has fulfilled his dream: to make wine and explore the expression of terroir. He studied and began his career in Brittany, selling franchises for a restaurant chain. In 2012, his estate (now 4 ha) was established near Rivesaltes. It is in the process of converting to organic (biodynamic) farming.
