At the estate, they say that to discover Sarda-Malet, one must first taste this wine. Made from a blend of traditional grape varieties—Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah, and Mourvèdre—it is renowned for its elegance and harmony. Repeatedly hailed by the press as one of the region’s finest wines, it is undoubtedly the meticulous care taken in the vineyard and during aging that give it its deep character and beautiful complexity. About the estate:

“This estate, which was a pioneer of quality in the region, has returned—under the leadership of Jérôme Malet—to the highest level with a refined and balanced style. Today, it is the estate that produces the most elegant wines in Roussillon, both dry and sweet. The prestigious Terroir Mailloles cuvée—never excessive but the most oaked of all—displays beautiful depth and a refined texture in both its white and red expressions. This harmony is also evident in the Rivesaltes wines, both in vintage vintages and in wines intended for long aging.
The wines: The 2005Terroir Mailloles white is still marked by its aging, with subtle buttery notes, but it has great potential; it should be cellared for at least another year. Among the reds, this cuvée remains the estate’s finest. A delicious Muscat de Rivesaltes, full of fruit and perfectly balanced, while the 2005 La Carbasse is in the vein of the great vintages.”
