Domaine Sarda-Malet - Le Terroir Mailloles blanc 2005
Stylish white, elegant and refined!
It is from the same Quaternary terrace of red Günz and rolled pebbles on which Mouvèdre and Syrah produce the great "Cuvée". Terroir Mailloles The roussane and marsanne grapes for this white cuvée also come from this red "terroir". Once again, the greatness of the terroir is clear for all to see. Just taste and you'll appreciate the aromatic richness of the nose and the round, full-bodied palate supported by fine acidity. A 2005 with obvious potential that will be a delight after one or two years of cellaring. Buy your Sarda-Malet wines at the best price on private sale!

Estate rated (2008 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
"Under Jérôme Malet's impetus, this estate, which was a pioneer of quality in the region, has returned to the highest level in a racy, balanced style. Today, it produces some of the most elegant wines in Roussillon, both dry and sweet. The prestige cuvée Terroir Mailloles, never excessive but the most woody of all, shows great depth and textural finesse in both white and red wines. This harmony is also found in Rivesaltes, both vintage and long-aged wines.
The wines: Terroir Mailloles 2005 white is still marked by its ageing, with fine buttery notes, but has great potential and should be kept for another good year. In red, this cuvée remains the estate's finest. Delicious Muscat de Rivesaltes, full of fruit and perfectly balanced, while La Carbasse 2005 is in the vein of the great vintages".
