A certified organic blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, this 2018 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel Cabrils had not yet been bottled at the time of tasting, so the cooperative sent a sample taken directly from the vat (brut de cuve). Aromas of raspberries, violets, and black cherries appear on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate has firm but fine tannins that should allow this wine to age for 5 to 6 years.
