"This dense, brilliant garnet exhibits depth with lively highlights, radiating youthful vibrancy. Intense, straightforward, and elegant, the fruit makes an immediate impression, with notes of black cherry and blackcurrant tinged with a hint of pepper. A superb attack, featuring fleshy fruit and licorice, opens onto a palate that offers plenty of freshness and breadth, supported by silky tannins. A harmonious and expressive wine.” (Guide Hachette 2025)

About the estate:
Domaine des Soulanes was founded in 2002 by Cathy and Daniel Laffite in the Maury region. The couple had previously worked these same vineyards for over ten years alongside the former owner before acquiring part of the estate. The vineyards are located at the foot of the rocky peaks dominated by the Château de Queribus. The estate’s wines are full-bodied yet balanced, energetic, and intense.
