A very fine Rosé from a confidential but highly qualitative appellation. The nose is fine and pleasantly expressive with notes of red fruit, the attack on the palate is frank, with character and a tonicity brought this year by a fine acidity. Afterwards, the fruit notes fill the mouth and give a very pleasant finish. One of the best rosés in the Southwest!

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Domaine rated 1*Star (Serious production)

About the domain :

The cooperative, which controls most of the Buzet appellation - some 1950 hectares to date, planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon, Semillon, etc. - had built up a solid reputation in the 1990s. With a few more difficult vintages, quality declined, before returning once again to a good level. The range offered by this winery is worthy of attention; the wines are followed on a parcel-by-parcel basis and assert specific identities, without being overly showy.
